Development of TBO guidance on value-driven transitioning to a globally interoperable TBO environment

Annex 13 - Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation
Description of Amendments
Review Annex 13 provisions for the protection of recordings from flight recorders and other recording devices during and after accident and incident investigations and assess necessity for amendments to Annex 13.
Assess necessity for amendments to Annex 13 in relation to cooperation mechanisms.
Study and develop provisions on providing information on the progress of an investigation to aircraft accident victims and their families. Explore how to further define the role of the personnel appointed by the State whose citizens have suffered fatalities in paragraph 5.27.
