Airport specific characteristics Information about airports with scheduled commercial traffic including number of flights in 2013, number of runways and layout for airports selectable by State of region. This app shows all scheduled departures for 2013 per airport as well as the number of physical runways (not runway ends) and layout code. The Layout code represents the runway layout of the airport. It is a number where the digit in decimal position n represents the number of sets of n-parallel or near-parellel runways in the airport. For example: •1: One single runway •2: Two non-parallel runways •10: One set of 2-parallel or near-parallel runways •100: One set of 3-parallel or near-parallel runways •20: Two sets of 2-parallel or near parallel runways
