ABOUT ATED - The International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) Aviation Training and Education Directory (ATED) is a user-friendly and effective online training and education directory for aviation professionals and students seeking training and educational opportunity at the local, regional, or international level. It offers a comprehensive list of aviation training centres and educational institutions, allowing visitors to freely browse through the site and obtain detailed information on training and education providers as well as their programmes and courses.
ATED also provides aviation training centres and educational institutions with global visibility and marketing opportunities, enabling them to reach the aviation community and , training and education stakeholders from ICAO's 192 Member States, as well as perspective students. The ATED platform will be linked to ICAO’s training needs analysis (TNA) tool , which is used by States to help civil aviation authorities identify their training needs.
ICAO’s Global Aviation Training Office, which manages ATED, is continuously upgrading the platform to improve the visibility of civil aviation training centres and educational institutions and enhance outreach to aviation professionals. New interactive search features are being developed and implemented on an ongoing basis to help aviation professionals and future students identify training and educational programmes catered to their professional development needs and career path.
