ICAO Recognized Tests
This page lists the tests of aviation English that have been assessed and determined to be in conformance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for Language Proficiency Requirements (LPR).
Conforms: Tests that meet all of the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements and that follow good language testing practices.
Partially Conforms: Tests that generally meet established criteria but that need some improvement to meet all criteria. TSPs are invited to work with ICAO and make changes during the year in order to achieve conformance with ICAO SARPs. Tests that have been determined to be in partial conformance with ICAO SARPs have one year to make the necessary improvements to achieve conformance. Additional time may be granted to the TSP if sufficient evidence has been provided that progress has been made, however additional time is required to fully implement the changes.
